Same Sun Here Book Wrap is ON for November 4th!

Hello RiH families! The New-York Historical Society and DiMenna Children’s History Museum have made it safely through the storm, and we hope all of you have as well. We wanted to assure all of you that we are going forward with our Book Wrap for Same Sun Here this Sunday, November 4th We are going to have a wonderful time discussing this amazing novel, seeing artifacts from our collection, asking Ms. Vaswani questions, and getting our books signed by her.

One of our discussion topics will be how Neela, River, and all of us have lived, or are living, through important historical events in our own lifetime. How do we reflect on these events? What do we want to remember about them a long time from now? How do we change history while we live through it? I think, after Hurricane Sandy, we will all have a lot of thoughts on this theme. See you Sunday, everyone!

Families, you might be wondering how you will get here for our Book Wrap on Sunday while the Marathon is in progress. Please take a look a the following links which will help you plan your trip.

Neela Vaswani will be here and we hope to see you too!
