The New-York Historical Society’s Summer of Hamilton started off with a bang this Fourth of July weekend. On Independence Day, families mingled with Revolutionary War soldiers, ladies from the Founding Era, and Alexander Hamilton himself in between creating tricorne hats, designing festive flags, participating in a singalong with the Hudson River Ramblers, and so much more!
Check out some photos from an amazing day of patriotic museum fun below.
If you missed the Fourth of July festivities, not to worry—there are plenty of other chances to have historical fun at the Museum all summer long. Stop by any weekend between now and the end of August to meet Revolutionary War reenactors during our Living History Summer or any day of the week to pick up a special Summer of Hamilton family guide.
