The Battle of Brooklyn has arrived at the New-York Historical Society, and families are already getting into the Revolutionary spirit! On our special Battle of Brooklyn Family Day on September 24, kids and adults alike tried their hands at some Revolutionary-era espionage, got silly with a couple of rounds of Broadside Blanks, and checked out the exhibit with George Washington and Alexander Hamilton! Check out some photos from the day below.
On October 8 and 9, we’ll continue to celebrate the new exhibition with American Revolution living historians, who will set up camp in our galleries and chat with families about life on and off the battlefield during the War for Independence. Stop by any time between 11 am and 4 pm to meet the 3rd New Jersey Regiment!
